How to Enable Talkback Shortcut on Google Pixel 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 6 Pro

Step 1: Open your device's Settings app

Step 2: Select Accessibility.

Step 3: Select the app that you want to use with a shortcut

Step 4: Finally select the shortcut setting, such as the TalkBack shortcut.

Step 5: Choose a shortcut such as:

Tap accessibility button: At the bottom of your screen, tap the accessibility button
Hold volume keys: Press and hold both volume keys
2-finger swipe up from the bottom (3-finger swipe with TalkBack turned on)

Step 6: Choose the Hold volume keys option.

Step 1: On the side of your phone, find both volume keys.

Step 2: Now press and hold both volume keys for 3 seconds.

Step 3: To confirm that you want to turn TalkBack on or off, press both volume keys for 3 seconds again.

Method 2: Via Google Assistant

Step 1: Say "Hey Google."

Step 2: Say "Turn off TalkBack" or "Turn on TalkBack."

Method 3: Via Device Settings

If you are someone with low vision or you help someone who is blind, you can navigate with settings to turn TalkBack on or off. Just follow the steps below.

Step 1: On your Pixel phone, open Settings.

Step 2: Select Accessibility TalkBack.

Step 3: Turn Use TalkBack on or off.

Step 4: Select Ok.
